SOCIAL SITES
Advantages and Disadvantages
Advantages of social sites:
- Popular social sites such as Facebook and some others have a high PR, which helps to get your site link crawled by the major search engines.
- Meeting people and making new online friends. There are two schools of thought on building your network of online connections. I’m of the mindset that the first method is better.
- Quality – try to get to know the people you are connected with. This method is slower in the beginning, but effective in the long run, because as you let people get to know you, if they feel you are trustworthy, then they will begin to tell their friends, and this can really snowball. Remember, you are branding yourself, the question is, What brand (or reputation) are you developing as an online presence.
- Quantity – There are some who use black hat methods to quickly gain a large network of online connections to blast their newest and latest biz opps to.

Disadvantages of social sites:
- Can be time consuming and requires consistency. Just dropping into a social site and blasting a link to your latest biz opp that your so excited about does not work very well, however, on the other hand, if you drop into one or two of your favorite social networking sites every day and spend some time posting content that is valuable to the others members, and spend some time chatting with some of the members (get to know them and let them get to know you) then your chances of sponsoring people into your business increases.
There are a lot of social sites to join. Here are just a few of the ones I am a member of.
